I keep telling , I'm going to start naming them (largely because I'd rather type "pi" or "nu" rather than "artemis" or "magnesium").

... However, he's so quick with the installs that by the time a machine has arrived at the data center, he's already given it a name and issued it an IP.

I'm thinking we should get a list of Norse gods or hero's. Thor and Loki are easier to type than most elements or Greek gods (except perhaps Thor's hammer - Mjolnir, at least for Anglophones )

Cheers
Jeff

Well, that or start naming them after the Idologic gods..... Jeff, DH, Andriven.....

But all joking aside, ask and ye shall receive:

Personally, I like:
Bor, Baldur, Freya, Loki, Modi, Sif, Sol, Thor, Tyr, Ve, Vor (mostly because they are either easy to spell or remember)

Nice List. I think we'll go with with the Norse names. They are shorter (as I suspected).

Cheers

I'm partial to Greek alphabet names myself....not that that necessarily matters.

Alpha, beta, gamma, delta, etc.
