My personal opinion...

I found Idolgic by a stroke of luck, at WHT. I happened to be in the market for a reselling webhost. When I ran across a thread that mentioned Idolgic, along with a few others. DH (of Idologic) had replied thanking this member for suggesting his company. So I began digging.

I checked out their site, ran traces and pings, and began a long night of PM's with DH at WHT. DH replied toe-to-toe with me. No sooner had I sent the PM, did I get a response back... The same was true for a few emails to Idologic. A couple of days later, and the deal was locked!

From that point on, I have yet to see a single thing that would lead me to believe I made a bad choice in my upstream provider!

What makes Idologic a sound choice? (IMHO)
1- Knowledgeable Staff
2- Quick Responses to any question, regardless of the method of contact you choose.
3- Quality Hardware, in a well run Data Center.
4- Phenominal Uptime.
5- Even the slightest glitch in service (regardless of who's responsibility), and your notified immediately!!! Not only that, but your kept abreast on the progress of the situation.
6- When decisions need to be made about server issues and the services thereof, Idologic puts the details to the community for a wide open discussion on them before anything is done.
7- Did I mention their uptime?

If you want a solid upstream, one that enables you to sleep soundly, then Idologic is where you should be!

Speedy took the words right out of my mouth.

I have known DH for quite some time and he has helped me out looong before I ever started hosting here.

I came to DH yesterday in an emergency situation and ten minutes later I had my account logins, no questions asked.

He set me up before I even paid him.

I had a question about setting up, I got a reply from the Help Desk in TWO MINUTES.

With servers and support like this I get a feeling that Idologic will be the next "Big Thing"

I do have to say I've been impressed during the time I've been here. Helpdesk queries are answered (and resolved) promptly and with a hint of knowledge included.

Uptime has been perfect as far as I can tell and things are usually so smooth it's almost a bit worrisome.

All I've ever asked from a host is decent uptime and advance notice of interruptions. So far I'm getting what I wanted.

Okay, now back to the budgeting. I have a payment to make to a certain hosting company this week.
