Few questions... :)
I'm going to buy a reseller packet soon, so I have a few questions...
what about Upgrade or Downgrade Fees, Cancellation Fees or Advance Notice? What about Email Limits ? (newsletter scripts...) I will have a client that will create about 750-3000 email accounts and he will send daily one mail messages to all accounts... Will this cause any problems? (he is sending mail from his domain to his domain, e.g. from support@clientdomain.com to addresses like something@clientdomain.com) What webmail clients do you have? Do you provide non cpanel webmail? Response to DDOS Attacks ? Do you have large test file to measure download speed? How much does it cost if I want to restore from your backup... (if I accidentally erase all of my files or so) How many servers/clients do you have? How do you manage server load? (What will happen if my site gets too slow... if server is overloaded) what about maximum number of mysql connections at a time? and the hardest one ![]() why should I choose you, instead of some other providers… ? |

Hi Ashik,
I've placed numbers in the quote and will answer them in order : Quote:
2:300 per hour 3:that's fine as long as he rate limits the email to the rate in #2 4:squirrelmail/horde. Not at the moment, are considering cubemail 5 epends on the size of the attack... null routing your ip could be required.6:http://www.idologic.com/zero.file 7:no cost 8:confidential. We use several racks. 9:if a site is abusing the resources then it's suspended while the user fixes his stuff or moves. If a site is getting popular and thus uses more (i.e. a bit much then recommended on a shared server), then we can assist in scaling up to a dedicated server and more. 10:no hard limit, see CPU/RAM fair use applies 11:We emphasize steady growth and stability over fast growth. We've been around since 2001 and we're reasonably flexible and work with clients to find solutions. Also, we all have solid IT backgrounds and we're not a 1 man show. |

As a client I wanted to emphasize on one point, hope I'm not saying anything I shouldn't or that is inacurate though:
How do you manage server load? (What will happen if my site gets too slow... if server is overloaded) The servers that I've had my reseller accounts on have all been Dual Xeon's, 3.0GHz processors if I remember correctly, with 2-4GB RAM. There was a post that two of them with 2GB RAM will be upgraded to 4GB RAM, so very likely you'll get put on a server with 4GB RAM. A large portion of other hosts will oversell their disk space and bandwidth, none of those are done. I've had to upgrade my accounts many times and found that they always had room on the servers and it wasn't an issue. I haven't personally seen any slowdowns in the server's speed, if someone's usage goes very high and they need to reboot the server they'll post it in the Announcement section of the forum and you'll know about it. Check out the testimonials section for more opinions, I made a post in there with some more detail as well. One last comment - I first came to Idologic only needing a single reseller account and somewhat felt that I was paying a "premium" in price for the excellent service. Over the past year or two though that has changed quite a bit, I don't get that feeling anymore at all, I think the pricing is just perfect or even a bargain. I hope that helped a little, feel free to send me a Private Message if you have any other questions - I'm just a satisfied client

Thank you for interest in our services
![]() Yes, we access paypal and credit cards. We don't limit the number of mysql connections, but 1 site can't take up 1/4th of the server, it's on a case-by-case basis. Yes, we'll assist in moving; particularly if it's from a cPanel to another cPanel host it's very easy (just give us access to your cPanel backups) |

However, vbulletin is a great piece of software, well made and fast. Leased version only allows you use it while you have a valid lease; owned version you can run indefinitely, but upgrades are $40 every year. |
